CARRION EMPIRE is a new project born from the ashes of MURDERBAIT.
Their Debut EP Includes two lengthy songs of dreamy yet epic Doomgaze with influences like JOHN CARPENTER, TANGERINE DREAM, VANGELIS, JAN-MICHEL JARRE evident, backed by desolate doom guitar and bass, as well as baritone vocals.
These two songs are accompanied by a unique cover of “God Was Never on Your Side” by MOTÖRHEAD, perfomred by MURDERBAIT as the band’s swan song, featuring additional guitar and background vocals by Matt Pike of SLEEP/HIGH ON FIRE.
Music for the slow demise of civilization.
